Bloons TD 5/6 Discussion Thread

Bloons Tower Defense, abbreviated as BTD, is a game where you place down towers (which are mostly monkeys) to pop bloons.
There are lots of games in the franchise, with BTD5, BTD Battles, and BTD6 being the most well known ones.

Feel free to also discuss Bloons Monkey City and Bloons Adventure Time TD in this thread as well!

Most of the Bloons TD games can be found on Steam, as well as Google Play and the App Store. There are also Flash versions of the games, which can be found on Ninja Kiwi's website.

I like playing co-op with my friends… Z-factor gets me really frustrated though as I always get stuck on the non-entrance side.
I really like the new towers in 5 though.
Especially the dartling gun (kinda) and the spike factory (yes!).

I've got to 125 on medium. Then I got bored and started a new game.

I prefer BTD4. It has better graphics in my opinion. And also, I play it on my tablet and I don't have any more money to spend to buy BTD5.

The best I made it to was 114 on Co-Op,then we died because of a ZOMG ambush.

I really hate camos because whenever I start a new game they come unexpectedly after I forget to put up camo detection and then I finally put them up and then they don't come for another 10000000000000 levels and then they come in like lead bloons when I only have like a dart monkey that can sense it.

Camo lead balloons are annoying,yeah…
Here is how to get rid of one:
1.Place a bomb tower down.
2.When you have enough,place a Monkey Village by the Bomb Tower.
3.Get enough money and upgrade the Monkey Village until you find “Radar Scanner” costing 1700$.
4.Get 1700$ cash and buy the upgrade.
5.When camo leads come,the bomb tower will shoot at the camo leads.

I bought the 3DS version of BTD4 on the eShop and I wound up with so many projectiles and movements on the screen that it crashed and froze so I had to power down my 3DS for a while XD. It was lagging so badly before that I forget what wave I was on but it was well past 100.

Yes it's on the eShop unless they took it down or something. They also have BTD1 on there. Personally I recommend just playing both of them on your computer and avoiding them on 3DS. On the computer it's free (unless they changed that since I've been on), and you get better quality.

I'm playing the Military Base track in BTD5D- I'm currently on round 101. Had to sell all my BIAs to reduce lag and make room for some temples.

Your so lucky you get Bloons TD 5 Deluxe.
I get the Heli Pilot tower because I bought BTD5 for the iPad.

I used to love playing this. It was addictive.

The only thing I'd change is have a snadbox mode that doesn't give unlimited money, but allows you to play endlessly. I like to earn the money.

Or you can buy a sniper and upgrade it to get the camo sunglasses and the lead popping upgrade.

I got the BTD Battles app for the iPad. It's free and isn't pay-to-win. My win/loss ratio's larger than one, which is good. I love engineer, helicopters, boats, dartling guns, and wizards.
