what about custom attacks? and could you add an option for having several colors? (i.e. Define Textcolor: (color) Text movement-Still/Shake(TextMovement) But its only an idea.

Can you be more specific on what you mean by custom attacks?

Change-log 6 pushback.

Change-log 6 will have to be pushed back for a few more days, mainly because I haven't designed a proper editor page and need to deal with software updates. Change-log 6 will feature new update(s) Human Editor and possibly Act Editor. Change-log 7 will somewhat focus on the overworld engine and a new editor. Both change-log 6 and 7 shouldn't take too long.

Undertale Battle Engine's release date has been set, and it will be revealed during or after Change-log 8's announcement. I am open to any suggestions for attacks.

I would rather wait for a high-quality engine than a buggy, poorly, rushed one.

Quality > Quantity

I would rather wait for a high-quality engine than a buggy, poorly, rushed one.

Quality > Quantity
quality over quantity doesnt fit what you said.
what does fit is:
wait over “THE TWO MOST POWERFUL WARRIORS ARE PATIENCE AND TIME” or something along those lines

Quality > Quantity does fit the segment very well — even if we look at it from time and/or business perspective.

Higher quality = fewer bugs. Fewer bugs = fewer fixes. Fewer fixes = less time you have to reupdate your game (since you will be using this engine).

If it was quantity > quality, then we will have a buggier engine that lacks features and that will be constantly updating, creating a bunch of hassle for everyone.

Idea: Add a custom unmoving sprite and an empty slot for a song. That way, people can make more custom battles.

And another thing… When this engine is out, it's gonna trump all other systems. Probably make most fanmade battles more high-quality.

I mean, UTSBC is no longer in development, and the creator of the YBST engine left scratch, so there's not a lot of options.
