Multiple Scenes?
This is useful for many type of projects. Animations and games would be positively affected by this feature, and believe it or not Animations and Games are the two types of project people create most. oh lord here we go again…
SCRATCH ISNT A GAME ENGINE, AND THEY ARE NOT OBLIGATED TO ADD FEATURES THAT WOULD ONLY BE USEFUL FOR ONE TYPE OF PROJECT AAAAAAAAAAA
Many people have stated the benefits of this. Maybe take some time to read the discussion…

Multiple Scenes?
I'm working on a game called lunarae's adventure, and I REALLY need this for cutscenes, levels, and different outcomes.

Support, animations in Scratch are extremely hard to do since you can't select the specific scene you sant to edit, and you have to start over again to the beginning, and repeat. With this feature, you can select which scene to edit.

This could be useful, but couldn’t you do this with messages? I made a fairly large game and did this with messages, so it is definitely possible.

Yes, but you would also need tons of hide blocks and stuff. It would also clutter the ‘real’ messages that you want. This could be useful, but couldn’t you do this with messages? I made a fairly large game and did this with messages, so it is definitely possible.

Technically, this whole idea is already possible with tons of extra blocks, but adding multiple scenes would make the code cleaner by splitting it into sections and by reducing the amount of code necessary by at least half.

Hey there, I guess I'm evil too…
Is this multiple scenes will ever be implemented ? Because at the moment, the only way I've found to simulate this is to add BackgroundChange listeners everywhere to show or hide each sprites…

It's pretty strange, considering Scratch Jr. and MIT's App Inventor have these functions.

Support. This would (hopefully) help reduce lag while running and editing projects, especially if they need a lot of assets.

Scenes seem like a feature that not every project would use, so I think this would fit better as an extension. xXRedTheCoderXx's examples would fit better as an extension rather than a feature in all projects. Thoughts?

I don't know if it can be added as an extension instead because extensions only add blocks, not blocks AND features. Perhaps this could be a togglable option in the “File” or “Edit” dropdown menus instead of an extension. It could add the feature too. Why couldn't it? I don't know if it can be added as an extension instead because extensions only add blocks, not blocks AND features. Perhaps this could be a togglable option in the “File” or “Edit” dropdown menus instead of an extension.
The way to regularly delete extensions is removing all blocks from the extension and reloading the page. The way to delete this extension (if it is implemented as a extension) is that you must remove all blocksand have only one tab, or one scene.

Multiple Scenes?
Yes! Absolutely! Full support!
This is an excellent suggestion and could be implemented really well. Recently, I tried making an escape room game, and each level had a ton of components. The workspace got messy and the game was laggy. This could solve so many issues, as I could simply create a different scene for each level. Other game engines/game making tools, such as Unity or Dreams PS4, have scenes, and lemme tell ya, they are a LIFESAVER.
Scenes would be a perfect fit for Scratch. 100% support.
