This topic is for people who make (or are looking to make) games similar to that of Cinnamon Cafe by Whimsical or Sprinkle Town by Fun_Cupcake_i81. These games are casual and sweet, and are often colorful and calm-looking. They often are set in bakeries or adorable towns.

So- are you stuck? Think your idea isn't original enough, or think that perhaps your story could use some work? Here are some ideas for you! And feel free to suggest your own ideas so this topic can grow <3

Simple and Casual Ideas:

- Make a game in which you're a librarian who has to help reshelve books
- Make a game in which you're a person at a daycare who has to distribute crayons or markers to kids in the right color
- Make a game in which you're a mail carrier and you have to deliver the right packages to the right customers

More Complex Ideas:

- Make a game in which you are someone who is building something, whether it be a house or a video game console (I don't know haha)! Make it so that the person has to put it together a specific way and be sure it gets to the correct customer. This is a variation on bakery games, but with a different thing. Instead of making dishes, you're building something! Try to find a unique topic!
- Create a game in which you're a hairdresser, who has to give their customers the right order- or perhaps just freestyle hairdressing, like an avatar maker but different! :]
- Create a game in which you're a dog-sitter, but all the dogs have gotten mixed up and you need to figure out who their owner is! (It might be obvious, via looks, or less obvious, via text hints)
- Create a game in which you're perhaps a fashion designer and have to find the right costumes to match with an objective image!
- Create a game in which you have to organize a kitchen- wash dishes and make sure everything is where the chef told you.

Hi! These are good ideas. I really want to make the mail carrier game but I tried and it didn't work. Do you have any ideas on how to do it ?

Sure! What exactly are you struggling with? Code, design, gameplay? And if you need ideas for design and gameplay, just lmk! I'll try my best to fix code issues

I think I have a pretty good idea of how I want it to work. I was thinking a above view of of the streets and houses with moving door to door. By delivering packages to the right customers you get things like better mailbags, or more letters or something. I'm not really sure on how to code it so I guess that is the part I'm having problems with. Thanks for helping!

Okay! So I was working on the movement. I know how to do arrow keys but I I wasn't sure the best way to have the player move but only on streets and up sidewalks to deliver packages.

You can try to have it so that they can't go off the road, maybe. Like, if they start walking into a house, it's like walking into a wall in a platformer. Or, they can't get off of whatever sprite/color the sidewalks/roads are. So like, if they start to go off, make it so they can't get off of the road/sidewalks?
