what to do with a 7 year old

Hi guys! I saw a 7 year old on this scratch not Scratch jr. I know that she is too young for this scratch. Should I report her or let her be?

let her be. scratch is for all ages.
if she's breaking the guidelines you might want to report that though

There is no such thing as a person being too young or old for Scratch. AFAIK that user is almost in range to the targeted age range. If this wasn't enough for you the Scratch Community Guidelines said it themselves…
Scratch is a friendly and welcoming community for everyone, where people create, share, and learn together. We welcome people of all ages, races, ethnicities, religions, abilities, sexual orientations, and gender identities. Help keep Scratch a welcoming, supportive, and creative space for all by following these Community Guidelines:

Yeah the age range is not a set in stone deal. The 8-16 is the target audience, which means that Scratch is designed for 8-16, but any age can use it.

No, age is not a valid reason to report.
griffpatch is an adult and yet they are on Scratch. Would you be reporting griffpatch because they're over 17?
Actually, I'm curious, how exactly did you reach the conclusion that younger than 7 must on Scratch Jr. and older than 16 must not be on Scratch? I've seen literally nothing that implies that.

There's no difference if you report a 17 year old, scratchers like griffpatch, za- charry etc are more then 17 years old and though scratch is mainly designed for 8-16 but it's actually made for every ages

i mean the target is only a recommendation
just because scratchjr is for x age doesn't mean that only x age can use it
conversely, the same with scratch
just because scratch is for y age doesn't mean that only y age can use it. in fact, x age uses it and even older!
i mean after all, should griff be banned because he's in his 40s, if not 50s?

There is no minimum age requirement for Scratch. Scratch Jr. is just a simplified version of the Scratch program so younger children can understand it better, but you don't have to be a certain age to use the main website. I started on here when I was 8, and my little brother signed up when he was 7.

There's also no limit to how old you can be in any context, actually. Everyone, and I mean EVERYONE is allowed here regardless of age. No minimum, no maximum.
