So basically - I used a calculator when I was actually adding the words, and then yesterday + today, I went back to check (which entailed scrolling through the entire word count studio and adding lol) and I added them to a spreadsheet, which gave me the sums. I'm getting a margin of about 8k words between the two counts, and I'm kind of panicking right now because I have no idea what to do.

I added your words again (from the word count studio), double checked, and got a total of 275273. Did you get a total around that at any point?

I added your words again (from the word count studio), double checked, and got a total of 275273. Did you get a total around that at any point?

Some of the word counts in that studio are inaccurate because of errors, so I found a way to go through the points of the users whose counts are conflicting, and long story short I'm close to clearing it up. I think the 278,805 is accurate, I'll finish checking and post if anything changes ^^

Onto new co-hosts and host speculation — we want to be a little bit more cautious about host speculation this session. So we ask that you don't openly speculate about who it is (though you're absolutely welcome to congratulate them here! like “congrats to the new co-hosts”) or that you ask people if they're a co-host to avoid potential feelings of hurt, because if everyone's guessing you and you aren't actually the person, that can be hurtful ^^' So we'll give you some clues (probably in the host speculation studio, and I will post this there also) but we ask that you don't speculate openly about who they might point toward, if that's all right.

Congrats to our new co-hosts, and apologies for the messy speculation situation, we just want to make this as easy a transition for them as possible. They are currently undecided when to reveal.

As for when results will come out! It will hopefully be mid-August, but I can't say much as I am neither a competition judge nor the person creating the results, but please do not spam Robin about it - the judges are working very hard and will get them out at the same time regardless of how much you ask. Results will be out on Robin's profile ^^
