Hello this is craftwithcookies with another topic.

Recently, i have been looking for a free 24/7 bukkit server host that supports whitelist and public, i have been looking all over the internet, but its either a stupid survey scam, or its Alternos. Ok, at first when I heard about Alternos, I got excited, and I tried it, but the results were ugly. the reasons why i dont like Alternos is: 1.Its SO hard to start the server, because it says “too many servers are running” 2.Server stays on only for like 8 mins then shuts down. 3.NOT 24/7 4.It dosent have the plugins that I want. 5.only 10 player slots 6.you cant have a image by the MOTD. thats the reasons i dont like Alternos free server hosting. Another choice is port-forwarding and hamachi. I tried port-forwarding, but it didnt work out because 1.my network would be in danger of being hacked 2.My internet is not fast, so it dosent work 3.not 24/7. Theres also hamachi, but hamachi is not 24/7 and the fact that everyone has to own it to join the server.

so my point is - any suggestions on free 24/7 server hosting? thanks 1000x IF you find a solution.

There is no free server hosting. NONE AT ALL unless you want one for a day for friends and then want to pay for more.

There aren't any good free server hosters out there really. So, I recommend getting a server for cheap. I own a Minecraft server and pay $5 a month.

It's $5 a month but it's a Vanilla server which means it has no plug-ins (So, I have several thousand Command Blocks

). The domain I have is mc.keeganbrooks.com for my Minecraft server and I get it from GoDaddy for $5 a month (which my dad pays) then I host the server privately. Which means I don't use any thing like ProHosting.

I'm fairly pleased with the hosting I get from GGServers. I think I pay about $1.50 (US) per month. I don't trust their backups though as they've been a bit clumsy in the past. Backing up is easy though, thankfully!

Sounds like your friend's problem is his connection, not the servers.

Ok then… I dont know about servers much (except on how to link local servers to a person at a different area without the same Wi-Fi via external)…

I thought your friend was trying to say that cheap hosting will result in a server but it'll be a laggy one. Or something like that.

My server gets laggy if more than a few people are on it but that's why I pay $1.50 per month - I don't expect there to be more than two people on simultaneously. If I wanted more capacity I could pay a little more but as it stands that's more than I'd need.

I have a free minecraft server at triangle.gs. Their lowest plan is for free with 16 people and 512mb and all you gotta do to keep it running is login and click a renew button everyday but they also got paid plans starting at $5.00 dollars a month and more! It's pretty good for a private 10 player minecraft server with your friends! I recommend checking it out!
