HELLO EVERYONE!

One month ago, I privately released an updated version of Skyscrapersim Building Creator, called Skyscrapersim Building Creator Reloaded .
I made an update because I personally think the original I have created 5 years ago had limited functionality . For example, if you were to draw a floor plan, you wouldn't be able to do it as a floor by floor basis . In this case, every room drawn for one floor would always copied to another floor, depending on how many you have set. This creator, however, would allow you to draw custom floor plans. In other words, you can make large ground floorplan and mezzanine, and have floors 2-20 to have a different layout . There are more features as well.

This forum is here if any of you want to add in any suggestions or if you are getting any crash reports on Skyscrapersim

• Whenever a situation arises, you MUST provide screenshots, the error report, and the version of Skyscrapersim you have used. This will ensure that I would be able to fix the problem for that version of Skyscrapersim in question.
  
  
• I would then correct the building file, send it back to you, and then correct the bugs in the project.
  

If you are to add in more features to scratch, these are the conditions

• Scratch has a hard list limit of 200,000 items/lines. This is not a problem for this creator because I have shortened the lines being used when building a room or elevator by using custom functions, which are defined in the building script, so you don’t need to download anything. The average building created using this creator would have between 500-700 4000 lines, depending how large a building is, in my opinion, where as a normal building would use up way more rows or lines for roughly the same items. For reference, Triton Center.bld has 8335 lines, and although scratch can hold this many items, I decided to focus on allowing users to make larger or more complicated buildings while retaining a smaller project size and an efficient building file.
  
  
• I will keep the functions and it will NOT change to just normal commands because I'm trying to make room for other features, and because scratch is a lightweight project editor. I’m also finding ways to reduce redundancies within a project
  
  
• Scratch has a project JSON limit of 5 MB uncompressed. Currently the JSON is at about 690 KB, or 0.69 MB. There should be room for more stuff, like more fixtures, stairs, escalators, but I don't want the project to crash upon startup.
  
  

COPYRIGHT/USAGE INFORMATION

• The building creator is made by me (NothingCanStopMe357). Like all projects, this project is licensed under the scratch project license under the terms of service. However because this is open source, you are free to remix the project as long as you are mentally confident that you can. Just give credit if that is the case. Keep in mind that this is NOT a simple project, and any mindless tinkering will get the project unusable and broken.
  
  
• Do not believe what one may say in terms of their scratch projects being used. All publicly available scratch projects, regardless of who created it, is freely available to be remixed, meaning anyone is allowed to do it, provided that credit must be given to the original creator. This is important because some people without knowing will copyright their scratch projects and say that the project is All Rights Reserved despite it being publicly available on scratch. Unfortunately, this exact behavior is prohibited according to Scratch Rules and their Terms of Service, and it must be reported. This cannot be tolerated as scratch is made for all ages and is a platform for creativity and building off and transforming ideas. You do not need permission to remix a scratch project, JUST GO AHEAD AND DO IT! (and give credit of course)

Also, I will not add anyone else's textures or sounds that are COPYRIGHTED other than the ones that came with skyscrapersim unless they specifically allow them to or got permission from them. This includes those made by BENO. I am open to include those that are free to use and whether those have a license allowing them to be reused. For example it can include EG881 and KW textures since I have read that credit must be given to them but other than that they can be used

Hello,
I am reporting an error when I try to load my newly created building in Skyscraper. It loads to 10%, and then it spits out a script error on line 410. I was using Skyscraper 1.11 Alpha. Thank you.

I have made an update as V6.1 and I decided to fix up the floor initialization script to the best I could do. Hopefully I had fixed the problem for you.

why does the gearless option for the elevators glitch? like the doors are covered by a wall?

Ok. The walls are blocked when i edit the building more than 5 times

May I ask about the stair issues? Although the placing is correct, the floor seems to be the problem.

You asked a screenshot for addressing the stair issue?

It is said, in order to solve that stair expression problem, Cutoff where the stair placed. I personally have been resetting something in order to simulate my pinnacle .

Sometimes, the elevator placement , especially the directional indicatior outside, may be placed wrongly which I tune manually to reappear.

The box is not a nightmare to me, as I need a basic operational shell in order to get thing done.

^ lol. That was unexpected. I did what I can in terms of creator and fixing issues along the way.

UPDATE: this version is no longer stable and if anyone wants to remix it, you can!
