I think I missed something.
I thought the word that sounds like what beavers build wasn't censored for some reason. I thought that Scratchteam didn't find it that bad, so didn't censor it. Has this changed?*

In the forums it becomes a “*” but on the regular site it is fine.

anyway forum filter is stupid and old, that pretty much sums it up

“*” isn't considered a serious swear word, and they haven't blacklisted it for that.

That's the thing. The forums are the only place where it's censored.

The forum filter is different from the main filter. It was supposed to just be a temporary thing until the main filter could be integrated into it - but it has never made it to the top of the “to do” list!
