Support, It's useful for Scratchers that don't know how to do complex code.

No support, it will discourage using more complex programming, this is like asking for a “Multiplayer” set of blocks. It can be worked around with more complex programming.
Scratch Team always rejected suggestions that encourage complex programming.
I don't really see a use for this… may not be worth the ST's time.
This is not going to take time for scratch team.
Supported, this was in older versions of Scratch.
If the scratch team thinks that this discourages complex programming:
you can make it a tool only the project-developer can use
I think you can pause the project by minimizing the browser I think.

That's not true. The Scratch Team is pretty much neutral to suggestions which encourage complex programming. It's more a matter of whether or not it can be implemented in a way which is as easy to understand as possible, and whether or not it is actually that useful.No support, it will discourage using more complex programming, this is like asking for a “Multiplayer” set of blocks. Support. A pause button is for more than games, and the ones that you can program in scratch are unreliable in certain situations. I have a browser extension that adds a pause button and it has come very handy for debugging.

Hey guys I would also like a pause button I found one on turbowarp. Without it stopping the project when you’re afk and you’re gonna get back on is not only worthless, it’s actually also making you lose your progress. Without a pause button, pressing stop will make you unable to go back.
