That's probably just due to how emojis work. We can't fix that. Problem: Windows

Sorry, but no support - I see the issue of spam. The Ukraine flag topic has been raised; see here; and has quite a few problems. I also see the potential for workarounds on filters, and it might find difficulties censoring.
From what I recall, when I first was on Scratch, some flag emojis/other emojis were allowed (again, this was a few years ago, my memory may not serve me right) and resulted in spam, and some other issues. I don't really see a need for them either - Scratch's current system is fine as is.

(#18)It does support some emojis actually. Though, I wonder is Scratch actually has control over which emojis can be put in comments? Maybe it's just a glitch..?It's not necessarily disallowing those emojis from being posted, it's just that Scratch doesn't support emojis in general. A better suggestion would be to change some server-side code to let it take in emojis.duplicate. It is suggested to use the topic provided to keep the forums organized.Mine is a bit different; Scratch isn't importing anything. It's just allowing those emojis to be posted. Looks like this is a

No support. What would classify as a country? For example, China believes Taiwan isn’t a country, and is a part of China, while others believe that Taiwan is its own country. So, would we include Taiwan? If we do, China might block scratch. If we don’t, people might be mad because there isn’t enough diversity or that Taiwan isn’t represented.

Hmm then we word it differently, just say we have flags now for every location (you know, in the list of locations you sign up with, that list of places) where it's possible to provide a flag… Maybe China will buy it. Oldest trick in the book I guess.

I may be wrong but I think they unblocked it. Wait up I thought China already did block Scratch…
I think that would make sense. Hmm then we word it differently, just say we have flags now for every location (you know, in the list of locations you sign up with, that list of places)

So, let’s say I want to put the South Korea flag emoji. Do I put _South-Korea_, _South Korea_, or _South_Korea_?

That's not what this suggestion is for, it just lets flag emojis get posted in comments in the bookfull of emojis, just like how you can post a skull if you want So, let’s say I want to put the South Korea flag emoji. Do I put _South-Korea_, _South Korea_, or _South_Korea_?

Why would the Scratch Team spend a big piece of their time making new flag emojis when they have other bigger subjects/situations? Some Scratchers may not recognize some flags; there are some minor countries which aren't widely as known.
Moreover, there would be quite limited ways how someone would use an unpopular flag emoji, let alone Scratch having a lot of widely unknown emojis.

Again, it's not about adding a bookfull more emojis, it's letting you post an emoji on Scratch, like how some emojis you can paste and they actually work, it's saying to allow the flag emojis Why would the Scratch Team spend a big piece of their time making new flag emojis when they have other bigger subjects/situations? The Scratch Team doesn't have to make anything. My suggestion is just to allow these emojis to send in comments, descriptions, and forum posts. Why would the Scratch Team spend a big piece of their time making new flag emojis when they have other bigger subjects/situations? For example, check the emojipedia.

Why not just… allow all (appropriate) emojis?

That sounds good but maybe that should be in a different suggestion? That way we can keep the suggestions organized like chapters of book. Why not just… allow all (appropriate) emojis?
