I think every time they're more projects the trending sort system takes more for see which ones for every category will be putting on the trending page.
Because i think scratch have a trending sort approx load time and if that time is passed the trending page don't updates.

Like this:

when I receive [ Add the trending projects]
set [ i] to [1]
repeat (length of [ Scratch Games] :: list)
if <(item ( i) of [ Scratch Games] :: list) = [famous]> then
Add to trending
end
if <(timer) > [1000]> then
stop [ All]
end
change [ i] by (1)
end

The Scratch Team needs to make a more faster sorting Engine of the projects or else this will be making more sorting problems.

I think that Scratch Team needs to code “Scratch V1.4” that pass all the games to JavaScript and it's not too hard because with Leopard and Turbowarp Scratch can Encode and Decode all info to JavaScript the only thing that Scratch need is to purchase Leopard and Turbowarp.

Yes, I noticed that most of the projects on Trending are Japanese. The projects on Trending are the same for all the languages.

That just complicates things, projects are already stored in json.

I'm still unable to search for one of my projects that I released about a month ago (June 27, 2022). Is the indexer still down or am I just missing something?

They've featured Japanese projects before, when trending was local

The indexer is now running, but it seems that either it has a lot of catch-up to do or it does not index high ID projects (again)

l am from japan but l dont look/play with japanese projects so l am just have so many questions like, why are there japanese projects on trending?
or why is trending updating to fast? or why only timcools projects are on the top for more than a week when are projects dissapear from trending in about 2 days? or why is all the projects on trending old project ids?

The ST said it was a bug and they are working on it iirc
