Why doesn't Scratch 2.0 have a compiler from .sb2 to .exe or .jar since it compiles to binary when running in flash player?

ST is really busy and can't handle programming that. Don't worry, there are some scratchers currently developing their own.

ST is really busy and can't handle programming that. Don't worry, there are some scratchers currently developing their own.……. but it compiles when running in adobe flash player and I don't think the flash player compiles scratch.

Compilers have been suggested before, but it's not exactly on the agenda of the ST.
But to be frank, any stand-alone game worth it's salt needs to be lengthy, far longer than any Scratch project out there. Otherwise, just link people to the project instead of compiling a stand-alone.

It doesn't compile when running; it's still being interpreted.ST is really busy and can't handle programming that. Don't worry, there are some scratchers currently developing their own.……. but it compiles when running in adobe flash player and I don't think the flash player compiles scratch.

Scratch doesn't ever compile anything. It's all an interpreted language saved inside a modified .zip file.I mean before it runsIt doesn't compile when running; it's still being interpreted.ST is really busy and can't handle programming that.
