Welcome to the Camper Contributions forum!

This session, we’re adding in a new way for campers like yourself to help out with the memory book. While the designing piece is left to members of the Memory Book Committee, you'll be able to help out with screenshots!

So what should you suggest?

We’re open to all suggestions so don’t feel like you have a lesser chance at anything! Everything will be considered fairly and reviewed by members of the committee. We’re looking for all sorts of things, ranging from comedic comments to gibberish, so please suggest anything that catches your eye. Keep in mind that we won't be able to use every single screenshot and that a camper’s stipulation* may prevent that particular piece from being able to be in the memory book. We’re also going to try to include as many people as possible in the memory book screenshot section! If we see the same username coming up a ton, we might only use them a few times as we want a variety of people to be included into the screenshot section.

*If the camper chose “never” as an option; meaning they don’t want to be screenshotted/quoted

Suggesting screenshots

To start off, we do have several guidelines for you to follow when suggesting screenshots.

• Please don’t suggest screenshots with you in it, or comment chains that you’ve started. We’d like everyone to have a fair shot rather than one person constantly clogging up all the screenshot space. Plus, it means more to others if someone suggests a comment they made. Unfortunately, if you do by accident suggest a screenshot with you in it then we won’t be able to include it unless someone else suggests it.
  

• When suggesting screenshots of comment snippets, make sure all of the participants’ usernames are visible and readable. That way, everyone gets the credit they deserve!

How to provide us with screenshots

• It’s easier for us if you provide us with the screenshots instead of sending us a link to a comment chain
  

• If the comment chain is too long, then you can change the size of your screen
  

• To take a screenshot on a computer, you can search up the specific keys you must hold in order to take one as all computers will be different. If you’re on a phone, unfortunately it’s only best if you take a screenshot on a computer as if it’s a long comment chain then the participants’ names will most likely not be visible
  

• To upload the screenshot to the forum, check out how to do so here
  

• If you can’t do all of the above, then you can link us to a certain comment chain that you want to be added into the Memory Book. Then a MBC member will screenshot it for you
  

• When sharing links to comments, make sure the link goes to the specific comment, else finding the exact comment you meant to suggest may prove more difficult than it needs to be. If you need help linking the comment, find out how to do so here

Other stuff

• Make sure to keep this forum on-topic; please no chatting about certain screenshots or funny moments–those can be kept on your profiles
  

• Try not to post too many screenshots before SWC starts, we want the screenshots to be mostly during SWC
  

• We won’t be notifying anyone if we use your screenshot, so don’t be surprised or disappointed if your screenshot is or is not included! We have a limited amount of space, and we’ll only choose the ones we think will fit the Memory Book the best
  

• Other than that, if you have any questions Birdi (@Bellevue91), Elle (@-everIasting), and I (@bIxez) are leading the Memory Book this session so if you have any inquiries please feel free to reach out to us! We’d be more than happy to help
