I do support this, however, the whole email reason is invalid, since you have to enter an email to create a account (atleat you used to, havn't created any accounts in a while so im not sure)

That is correct, you do have to enter an E-mail to create an account.
What if someone was using their parents' work E-mail? They can't send messages to the Scratch Team like that.
What if they were using a school E-mail that blocked Scratch's E-mails and they didn't have a personal E-mail address?

That's only true in some cases, and isn't a valid reason to implement this. I'm talking about ones who use a parent's work E-mail.

I don't see how that's relevant. The point is not that it's a parent's E-mail, the point is that it is a work E-mail. You're not supposed to use those to message people outside of work.
