What is the scratch color Palette?

What are the colors that make you think of scratch?

Max colors 5 or maybe 6.

I will use all colors used. With stripes or marble swirl designs.

this is more than 6 but oh well

also don't forget black and white

I think good ol' orange / blue purple / white makes for a good Scratch color palette!

Orange (Scratch Cat and the logo), white (again, Scratch Cat and the logo, but also the main theme of the website and 2.0/3.0 editors), blue (again, website theme), and grey (the 1.x editor).

for the editor there are about 161700 colors in the scratch color palette might not be what your looking for though

The colours that make me think of Scratch are the blue and orange used in the logo and throughout the website, and the colours of the blocks in the editor. That's quite a bit more than 6, though.

The three main colours that come to mind are the aforementioned blue and orange, as well as the green colour used for extension blocks.

I'm not totally sure. Blue and orange are complementary colours, so they should be fairly visible next to each other, but green next to blue might not stand out as much.

Admittedly, I don't think these colours would make very nice swirls. It might look better with white added in, as others have suggested.

Maybe yellow like the control or event blocks would look better as swirls.
