Yes!

Here are some of my followers!

I joined: 5 years, 9 months, 24 days ago (31/03/2018)
I have: 479 followers
In total, I have attained: 1,403 loves, 1,145 favourites, and 33,731 views.
Fun Fact: If my account continued to gain followers at a similar rate to right now, in 14,210 years I would reach the number of followers griffpatch has today! Try to imagine how many followers he would have then!
Thank you everyone!

Actually, I got my domains for free from eu.org.

You will be able to browse Incubator without signing in (i.e., without using Scratch Auth) but you will need to be logged in to create and participate in game jams. You can already try logging into Incubator, just click on Login in the top right corner.

Incubator will come with a rich text editor because I found that most people didn't leverage Itinerary's Markdown support, presumably because they weren't familial with the syntax.

That's really cool!

Help improve the Advanced Topics (Really!)
Before you create a topic:
Always search for duplicates or other similar topics before making an umbrella topic, e.g., “The Mac Topic”.
  • Is it about something you are planning on making but haven't made yet? If so, please wait to post until you have created a working prototype. This is a key factor to keeping the ATs as clean as possible.
  • The ATs aren't technical support. It is perfectly valid to ask questions about things related to programming, but not issues with external websites, apps, or devices. Most sites have their own support system; try asking there!
  • Is it related to something you are making in Scratch? (This includes OSes and other Scratch projects) If so, please post in Collaboration, Show and Tell, or another similar forum.
  • Is your topic questionably “advanced”? Try browsing the other forums to see if your topic fits better in one of those.
  • Issues with Scratch itself should be put in Bugs and Glitches.
Before you post: Is what you're posting likely to start an argument or derail the thread (e.g., browsers, operating systems)? If so, please re-think your post!

I even forgot how to do most markdown stuff so that would be amazing

Nice! All kinds of markdown formats have some amount of learning attached, so it's nice to not have that.
Also, I think this kind of thing can also be called WYSIWYG(What You See Is What You Get), but I may be wrong about that.

/hj is the worst tone indicator. It's confusing and ambiguous. I hate it. The point of tone indicators is to indicate tone, or the way that a piece of text should be read, but what does “half joking” mean? Do you just wake up in the morning and think “wow, I really have something I want to talk about seriously but also kinda not, IDK you decide.” It's useless. I hate it. It just provokes a deep rooted anger within me whenever I see it. People just comment /hj as if it makes any sense. It doesn't. Oh wow, it's a tone indicator that's has a relative meaning, how useful, I'll use it in every comment I post. NO. STOP IT. You're a tone indicator, you have only one job, and yet you sit there doing nothing apart angering me.

/srs

^^^ (there's more below)
This one is useful because it tells you that this signature is fully 100% serious. (/srs) Who would've thought that tone indicators needed to tell you something about the piece of text they're attached to? /s

I'm serious, I'm not even going to put multiple (/hj)s a the end of my signature as to mock the previous paragraph for not getting the point of something(like previous version of my signature). /srs

Have you clicked the login button on Incubator? It takes you to Scratch Auth! Incubator requires Scratch Auth if you want to create or participate in game jams. Otherwise, you can browse the site logged out. Also, what do you mean by Scratch Auth 2.0?

Dear Scratch Team,

I would like to inquire about my last message (addressing the censure of Scratch Auth) that I have sent through Contact Us 10 days ago. It has already happened to me that a message of mine appeared to go through Contact Us and I only learnt months later that apparently it did not go through at all.

This matter not only concerns me but hundreds of Scratchers as well, who rely on Scratch Auth to interact with the diverse open-source websites build around Scratch by the community.

Please see my previous message attached below in case it was not correctly delivered:

——-
Dear Scratch Team,

I have received alerts that Scratch Auth and Itinerary were censured, including the Scratch Auth project (https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/676911023/). The forum topic for Scratch Auth (https://scratch.mit.edu/discuss/topic/597434/) was dustbinned as well.

Scratch Auth is not a link shortener, nor a browser extension, nor does it promote userscripts, nor does it lead to inappropriate material, nor does it reveal personal information or social media accounts, nor does it have unmoderated chat features. I have made a forum topic to clarify the workings of Scratch Auth and Itinerary: https://scratch.mit.edu/discuss/topic/609816/

However, several users have drawn my attention to the Google Form that was previously featured on the Scratch Auth website. It was used to get the opinion of the community on whether they would like me to develop Itinerary (https://itinerary.eu.org) further, a site that could be used to create fun Scratch game jams. I understand that Google Forms could potentially lead to private messaging and thus I have taken the form down. To prove that I have NOT gathered any personal information, please refer to the data collected by the form: [redacted]

I apologise for publishing the form and I promise I will not do such things in the future. If the form was the reasoning behind censoring Scratch Auth, then I ask the Team to revert their actions because I have removed it. Thousands of Scratchers as well as some independent Scratch services depend on Scratch Auth, and censoring it restricts them. If the issue was not related to the form, please provide an explanation because the alerts I received did not help me identify the problem.

Finally, I would like to inquire about why Itinerary was censured as well. Itinerary purposefully has a friendly look, and it is strictly moderated. To create a game jam, a Scratcher would have to ask me on my profile. Also, I constantly review each jam for inappropriate descriptions and images. Thus far, I have found none.

Thank you for processing my message.

Hi,

Thanks for reaching out. We do not allow links to external sites that have even the potential to share private information or chat functions, regardless of how well you intend to moderate. We cannot moderate offsite, so we just do not allow it. Even though your site is Scratch-based, it is not affiliated and not under our purview. Asking Scratchers to connect offsite is forbidden, especially when it's a user-created site that has no moderation or TOS.

I hope you understand our position on this and why the entire concept is inappropriate for Scratch.

Thanks,
Scratch Team

I am utterly disappointed, here is why:
  • The Scratch Team failed to address several questions of mine, such as why was Scratch Auth censored;
  • My websites conform to all of the points written by the Scratch Team required to share links to personal websites;
  • "the entire concept is inappropriate for Scratch" - Does this mean that Aviate, Itinerary, Magnifier, Ocular, Scratch Auth, Scratch Tutorials, Incubator, ScratchStats, and many more websites made by Scratchers are not appropriate for Scratch?
  • Scratch's ToU declares that "8. Third Party Websites, 8.1 Content on Scratch, including user-generated content, may include links to third party websites." - Therefore, I don't see how Scratch Auth could be considered an exception, provided that it does not violate the ToU, the Community Guidelines and adheres to the Privacy Policy as well as to the topics in the Announcements forum. I spent an hour verifying all this.
