Importing sprites and transparency
Hello,
I found a neat sprite sheet that I want to cut up and import into Scratch. The sprite sheet is a png file and already has a transparent background. When I crop each sprite and export it as a png file then import it into Scratch it no longer has a transparent background, and when I try to set the transparency in the image editor in scratch it looks really bad. Is there a way to prepare the image for import using Gimp that will preserve the transparency?
This is the sheet I want to use: http://s81.photobucket.com/user/zanbatou-T-S/media/fire19pv.png.html
Thanks!

Importing sprites and transparency
This post is a necropost, but since it hasn't been answered, at all, I'm going to still answer it and hope InternetUser still finds it useful!
First things first, make sure you're cropping them right.
A super awesome spritesheet extractor I use is Shoebox!
Just put the spritesheet directly into it.
