One of my favorite tactics is just switching between Pyra and Mythra 5-6 times standing still before running in.

Also because of how quickly they swap, you pretty much have both character's moves on command. You can sometimes foresight an attack, switch to Pyra and have the time to forward smash. Or just approach in neutral as Mythra before switching to Pyra to use an aerial as a mixup.

An absolutely fantastic character for playing mind games with your opponent.

Does anyone else think Mario's F.L.U.D.D. is kinda lame? It's really only good for edge guarding, I almost never use it otherwise. It'd be cool if it got replaced by a different ability, like Cappy or something.

first alt
kirby
last alt is cool too but i dont use it too much
the rest is just changing the color and nothing else so they’re kind lame
kirby has bad alts

I main Mii Swordfighter, so we have near infinite costumes to pick from. Here's the Mii I use:

For the other characters I use it's Skin 6 for Aegis and default for Min Min and Steve. I tend not to use alternate skins, the only characters I consistently use alt skins for are Aegis, Corrin (Skin 2), Sora (Skin 7), and Chrom (Skin 8), Kazuya (Skin 2), Inkling (Skin 2) and I swap between skins 1 and 2 for Byleth.

I use 6th costume Pythra personally, I use the 3rd costume for Palutena then swap between the 4th and 6th ones for Roy

The better you get, the more useful F.L.U.D.D becomes, and yes that sounds like “yeah duh sounds like every move ever” but hear me out.

As you get better at the game and opponents are able to string together better combos since they're better at reading your DI, being not in disadvantage becomes more and more important. Stage control is very important for this, if you're the one at center stage, you're the one in control (which is the main weakness of an opponent who uses a campy playstyle, they rarely if ever have stage control). FLUDD lets Mario gain stage control basically on command (especially since you have enough time to charge it while an opponent is respawning).

Not sure if I posted this here before, but I played a few sets on stream at a tournament a few weeks ago, here's the VOD link (I'm the Pythra)

My first set's at around the 0:09:30 mark (without commentary for most of it) and then I have back to back sets on stream starting at around 0:48:30 (with commentary)
