Hi!

We're new to Scratch, and having a little trouble with our first project, which is a tennis game. It is still a work in progress, but we can't stop the game once the time limit has finished. Instead of the stage switching at zero, our timer variable continues on to minus numbers and the game keeps going. Any ideas? We've tried scripting next background and blocks to select the background we want, but to no avail.

Thanks,
LacyGirls
I belive its this
repeat until <(timer) = [The time]>

if <(timer) = [The time]> then

broadcast [Game donev] Or
set [(Script done?) v] to [1]
end

end

when I receive [Game donev]
reset timer
wait until <[script done?] = [ 2]>

And have it when you start the game it makes the script done? to two
Also that post should go to help with scripts kinda.

Hei, I'm new around here. I'm came from Indonesia, hope and I wonder can meet people from Indonesia too.
Anyway, I want to ask a questiong, does Scratch is suitable to learn programming for kids? As my hope to learn programming to my children at home also for elementary pupils. What do you say?
Welcome to Scratch. There are people from all over the world here, so I hope find what you need, and enjoy!

Hi I'm LovelyLadybird100 and I'm not that new to scratch because on the old scratch I had a password but I forgot it.
I just want to say that I have a few projects that a few scratchers would like. If anybody likes baking I have two great icing recipes
one for lemon cupcakes and another for strawberry cupcakes.
I've got two games Zap the witches and Tap the cupcakes.
As you might have heard I love cupcakes!
Even if you didn't hear that I love cupcakes you might know by my projects.
I'm open for any questions if anybody wants to ask me.
My motto on scratch is always be yourself. I also encourage scratchers that are totally new to
the world of scratch not be afraid to ask questions.

Hello! I've been around on here for a couple of weeks. Probably overdue introducing myself, so sorry for that!

I'm Joanne, I'm 41 and wish to learn more about coding and using it to do clever stuff!

Hello! I'm new to Scratch as I post this “introduction.” Anyway, I plan to learn from Scratch and the Wikipedia for creating an RPG Video Game. I believe Scratch can teach me the patience, skill, and talents for such a thing. Of course, it will take a long time before I get the hang of it!
