I made a game that a bomb mechanic where you can pick it up and place it down and if you're holding it while you explode it you die. For some reason they decided it's a good thing to take down. I didn't even see a valid a reason.

Explosions are very intense violence, so I see why they wouldn't be allowed.

Wouldn't it have been taken down if there was any blood? I've seen many, many games with gore and explosions still up with 1000s of views.

I can re-upload the game if you want to see if you can figure out why it was taken down

I viewed your project by putting the URL in to an external website, and the project seems appropriate to me. The explosion is silent, and the player remains fine.

My guess as to why it was taken down is that either the Scratch Team interpreted the dynamite as a realistic weapon and so not allowed(which seems unlikely to me), or that the outer specks of the explosion were misinterpreted for blood.

Could it be considered a jumpscare?

I've made projects with explosions, some of them have been marked NFE, most are fine.

What did the explosion look like? Was it realistic or more like Minecraft tnt?
