the last two comments i have received on “perspective thing 3” have sent me two notifications instead of one. (the reply from lizzyhippo and rippertear) there is only one comment per person. the notifications were sent at the exact same time as their twin.

Yeah, it's a known bug: 1 notification for the comment and 1 for the reply.

Yeah, I've been getting double notifications too.

But, only single notifications when I post on my own project… which is a whole 'nother issue.

i have no idea where you're getting this weird formula from… what is this about the comment and the reply? both comments are replies. there are two times where i got duplicate messages of the same comment.

Well, for me, when someone replies to a comment of mine on my own project, I get two messages: one telling me I got a comment on my project, and one telling me I got a reply to my comment. If you're somehow actually getting double notifications, you should end up with 4 (2 comment notifications and 2 reply notifications).
