Hi welcome too the horror rpg topic

I don't know if this is allowed on here or If anyone's going to see this but here it is because I really love the genre. But hey if you see this I hope you enjoy it here and I hope you find people who like horror rpg's like you.


You talk or post about any horror rpg you want but make Shure you follow the rules.
For those who don't know what horror rpg's are there a genre of horror games that are made In different kinds of rpg maker software's. Fans of any horror rpg's are welcome here. Beware on spoilers for certain games

Rules:
1. Please don't cause arguments
2. Don't harass others because they like a fandom you don't even if it's not a horror rpg game
3. No spamming or trolling
4. Please don't talk about controversy's as it may cause flame wars
5. Please don't discriminate others
6. Scratch guidelines also apply here too
7. If you don't like the genre it's better to leave the topic then bully others for liking it
8. If posting images please make sure there appropriate

Yume nikki does count and it also happens to be one of my favorites too

i liked ddlc, kimi ga shine (i think thats what it's called) and this indie game it's not me it's my basement. i would play more games but i never have time to and im too broke to buy anything

Oh I remember checking out It's not me it's by basement a few weeks ago and I enjoyed it alot

decided to edit the rules some bit

I ADORE horror rpgs! RPGmaker games are probably my favorite “genre” of games

I love all the Yume Nikki fangames, but Yume 2kki is my favorite. I also like Answered Prayers and Ultra Violet!
Omori and Ib are great too. OFF scared the whites out of me for weeks, I like it as well. I watched a playthrough of Misao and that was pretty nice. I'm currently playing Wadanohara and the Great Blue Sea, which is good so far.
Hylics and OneShot aren't horror per se but they are rpgmaker games I really like

Other than that, I have a ton of games on my list but haven't gotten around to playing. Witch's Heart, White Sky, and YTTD come to mind, especially.
I think I can recognize a lot of the “greats” and their plots (crooked man, ao oni, mad father, etc.) but i have not played them because i am a coward

I love a lot of horror rpg's too and Yume Nikki (And a lot of it's fangames), Omori, Ib, and OFF also happen too be some of my favorites too I'm into more but I really don't want to name them all. And I know it's not a horror rpg but I'm also a Hylics fan too and plan on checking out Oneshot.

Ib wasn't the first one I saw but it was the third for me and it kind of holds a special place in my heart for me idk why

I've heard of Ao Oni and Mario and the Music Box before I haven't checked them out yet but maybe sometime.

Lily's Well because it took me the longest to find the courage to watch a playthrough of (also it was in my recommendations for a months and it is still in my recommendations even though I already watched the playthrough)

Mad Father, I can't remember when I watched the playthrough but I remember the first playthrough I watched was Laurenzside playing Mad Father
