I'm not exactly a cuber but I know how to solve a 3x3 using a mix of F2L and a beginner's method for the last layer.
What makes my achievements weird is that I have only ever solved a 3x3 and a megaminx. What makes this even weirder is that I learnt how to solve the megaminx before the 3x3.
This is because I have a sibling who is a cuber, so I mostly just follow along because I am curious.

Most people start off with 3x3, it doesn't mean everyone has to. I'm pretty sure one of the founders of thecubicle.com, a well-known cube store, started off with a 2x2 instead of a 3x3.

I'm pretty sure there is a robot that can solve one in under a second! Pretty crazy.

As for a human, the fastest I've heard of is just about over 2 and a half seconds.

Hey, I've effectively quit Scratch. I'll leave it up to whoever if they want to create SCO IV.
