Hiding the description in studios
You know how the description, thumbnail, and title of studios have been on the left for a long time?
To me anyways, it doesn't exactly seem quite right for the description to always be visible aside the content. On the older layout, I don't know if I was just used to it or didn't mind it as much because there were more background elements back then, but I didn't seem to super care that the description was always on the left. Now, I almost feel it completely off-centering the rest of the studio, especially on tablets.
To remedy this, I suggest having one of the following instead to show and hide the description.
Adding an about tab
+ This would allow the description to be separated from the rest of the studio so you could have the entire screen to see projects. comments, etc. The thumbnail and title could be kept on the top.
- However, to maximize the amount of people who read the description, the site would probably have to launch you on the about category of each new studio you visit so people don't always have to open that about tab. This might get hard because the server has to keep track of every studio people have visited in order to do this and that may take a lot of thinking to implement, and many people may not want to have to click out of it for every new studio they visit.
Adding a hide/show description button
+ While you may still see the description after entering studios, you could very quickly hide it with some labelled button or text. And then you could click somewhere else nearby to show it again.
- No cons that I know…
Shifting the description
+ Maybe if it is better for some people to have the description on the left at all times, perhaps it could just be shifted and shrunken enough so that everything else was centered.
- What if it didn't have enough space to shift?
I'd like to hear what you think on these ideas.

Hiding the description in studios
Adding an about tabThe About tab could just be made the default tab when there's no parameter in the URL to set the tab, or it could be merged with the Projects tab which I think is currently the default tab.
