The racing game problem

Their is a problem with most racing games, it's that they are almost always poor quality with no walls and a stationary screen. It feels like that beginners are making these racing games, but really, it should be more experienced people that can do it.

What I'm saying is that a racing game is not a good starter project.

I think it's a good starter for them, but I don't think they should Share it. I have made 70+ games I haven't shared and only 5-7 of them.
The community is now filled with “Play my game” and other comments to their (not always) poorly made racing game…

Well, to make a good racing game, even without walls or a moving screen, you need checkpoints.

I guess well the game has no walls, it does have grass( which makes you go slower) and water (which makes you restart the lap)

I kind of agree. I think a stationary screen is okay, though obstacle (not necessarily walls) make it much better.
I think that what really makes most racing projects bad is that you don't have to complete the lap, you just take a nap on the finish line.
It is not hard to incorporate these elements into your game, but it is certainly not the easiest thing to do.

However:

I think a racing game is an okay project to start with if you feel comfortable.

I think you should compare your game with an average game before sharing it; please don't advertise it if isn't better.
