Scratch 3.0 USB/Bluetooth Controller Support?
Is it possible that controllers that can connect through USB/Bluetooth (Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch Joy-Con, Nintendo Switch Pro Controller) be used in Scratch 3.0 via a custom extension? It seems possible since it runs on HTML5, and I believe it'll open up a ton of possibilities. Imagine the more elaborate control schemes in games allowing more options. Let me know what you think!

scratch should just make their own bluetooth controller. it could be light-blue and orange and everything!this is a good idea i like it, i don't really see ti happening but i think it would fit what scratch does they'll be more likely to make buttons though since scratch is more educationally focused and not gaming focused

developing an extension like this wouldn't be to hard actually because some extensions already use bluetooth and usb devices. it's only a matter of writing one that uses different devices.

You still can't use Joytokey!
Joytokey just turns the controller to a keyboard and if you could use a controller for scratch then you could just make a project were there's a button to turn it on controller mode.

You still can't use Joytokey!this actually makes sense, this would make a lot of things easier if we had a button for it.

I believe you can set the moving keys as the arrow keys and connect a switch controller (left switch controller) and it will work.

key [A v] pressed on pad [1 v]::#4b5799 booleanSome blocks
when key [A v] pressed on pad [1 v]::#4b5799 hat
controller type::#4b5799 reporter
vibrate controller strong () weak () on pad [1 v]::#4b5799
also controller type reports the type of controller used, like if i was using an xbox one controller it would say Xbox One Controller
also there is a turbowarp extension

Maybe use comments instead.
What do I mean by comment? this useless block.
then you can map keys to buttons by typing code.
