Custom Warnings or Disclaimers

There's a fear of… Holes? So that's why some people don't like Sky Sanctuary Zone. Anyway, some of the examples you gave are kind of absurd, and you can just stick those warnings in the description, or in a sprite that actually forces you to read them for long enough to understand. Using the current system would lead to a lot of these warnings being completely ignored.
Well, descriptions are also often ignored.

No, because it would destroy the actual use of this alert. You could not only type anything, also rude thingys or dissallowed stuff into it bu for example if there's someone using the username block as a way to track Scratchers secretly and you read the warning then that it's using those username blocks you understand but if the dialog box just says “fdsjkjariotjj 9rtvenrtu0” or so then this can be used to trick others and anyway track them by the username! That's just destroying the purpose it was made for! Also, if you had a list of warnings you could choose from you could just not choose to hide the tracking or you could choose random warnings and say that's funny.

Just no support!!
Did you even understand what I'm suggesting? My suggestion is: people can add custom warnings but the username warning won't be changed? And by your logic, everything should be removed.

What if someone bypasses the comment chat filter? We should take away commenting then.
What if someone types something inappropriate into the project? We should take away sharing then.
What if someone cyberbullies? We should take away the internet then.

I'll just bump this topic carefully and slowly. Hopefully the owner of this topic still thinks this topic is a good idea, as I have made that mistake before…

There's a 100% chance I've already said support on this topic (back when I used the support convention, because I was fairly new to the forums ), but here's an updated version of why I like this suggestion:
You could probably use this to make roleplay warnings, like “The wolves are watching from the hills. Be careful out there…” or something like that.

You could also use this to make disclaimers like “This information is correct as of January 1st, 2017” so people know that the information you used may be outdated by the time the viewer is viewing the project.

Also, I apologise for a post I made on this topic.
I'm talking about this post.
Back then, I saw lots of posts using the [offtopic][/offtopic] tags. You know, the ones people use when replying to another post?
Well, I thought that was a good thing to do.
However, I received a lot of negative comments saying it was rude how I chose to thread hijack.
I didn't know what I was doing at the time.
So, that's why I'm apologising now.

This would make creating flashing lights and trigger warnings more easier and convenient. However, I would just like to say that projects which are violent should not even be shared.

True. I'm not saying you can share violent projects. When a project is not inappropriate enough to be taken down and might trigger some kinds of people, you can add a warning or a disclaimer.

Maybe it would say not to add warning because it has huge amounts of blood, gore, nudity, etc.

I'm assuming fake blood is allowed?

I suggest that you can type some custom texts on the box. I know you can put that on the description but 60% of people just don't read them.
Why not code it into the project then? Before the actual game/animation starts, you can add a disclaimer in a sprite.
I think adding it to the box is more convenient.
I disagree, whenever i click a project I never think about the username thing, it comes naturally to me that i can just click start
Oh? So you never think about flashing lights, trigger warnings, slightly-creepy elements, and teenage stuff?
^^^
Support, this could let you add TWs or warnings or disclaimer to read the instructions convienently.

What if someone types something inappropriate into the warning/alert?
Can't they do that in the project?

But I did get a few answers to my question, did I not?
Also, that was 3 months ago.

There are a lot of people here saying stuff like “What if someone puts something inappropriate into the warning?”. What if someone puts something inappropriate into the description? What if someone puts something inappropriate into the title? What if someone puts something inappropriate into the project itself. Yes, you would report it, and you could do the same thing to other stuff about the projects.
