Actually DELETE Community Guideline breaking profile pictues on troll/spam accounts

The Scratch Team just delete their account but not their bad profile picture which can be visible by comments they made and pages that are not removed for deleted users, like the following and followers page

I thought deleting a Scratch account deletes your assets from the API. If that's not true, then this should be enforced.

Yeah, I don't think anyone really needs to see trolls being mean Chiroyce. This is something they should've thought of originally, and they still should do it. I have often seen accounts that have nono pictures as their profile picture, keep their profile picture after getting deleted or banned, which just shouldn't happen.

Why the follower/following page though? I like using it to know if an account of this name has ever existed

The pictures should be deleted. The recent troll accounts always have something inappropriate in them (along with someone's genuine picture). Although most of their comments will be spam and will eventually be deleted, few of them (I have seen two or three so far) are not spam and therefore will not be reported or deleted. 2-3 is little but it is still dangerous and exposes everyone to the inappropriate content. Moreover, multiple users (mysteriously) followed one of the first spammers. If someone looked at their following page, they would see the inappropriate picture.

If the profile picture is changed to a simple Scratch cat, this will not happen. Also, it would probably take a few clicks from a Scratch Team member.

This is suggesting to change the profile picture wherever it appears (including the following and followers page), not to remove it from there.

Bump, plus I'd like to restate what I said on a duplicate thread.

If anything, this suggestion simply serves as a reminder for moderators to do this sort of thing. Looking carefully at the profile picture, in some cases, is helpful. Or, if this user is a single-issue account which may be deleted throughout the website, simply delete the user completely so that no one can see the profile picture.

In the specific situation you give, I'm surprised that the user was not deleted everywhere to begin with. I figured that's what the Scratch Team did when a troll finds their way onto the website. Perhaps this was just an oversight.

Obviously you can just report the profile picture if it's inappropriate, but that's not possible if only the profile page is deleted. Additionally, Contact Us also works in this situation.

I don't think accounts created for trolling would have any appropriate comments, so I don't really see a point.

Um what? How does that relate to not deleting their inappropriate profile picture? One could still see it going on their following or followers page.

I think they mean their comments will be taken down and no comments means no pfp displayed on comments.

Wait… I just took a closer look at your response… sorry about that…
