This would give scratchers a chance to talk to the st about certain things. However, this may not be done because there are only about 50 mods on scratch right now, and over 50,000,000 scratch accounts (maybe about 15,000,000 scratchers).

In March 2022, there were only 987,114 project creators and 789,050 comment creators on the Scratch website.
Yas, but that does not measure the number of registered accounts, which is what I referenced.

There's already contact us and why would such a thing cause more than that there are now two pages to do the same thing and would just cause moderation and spam issues. Allso if it takes some time to manage the contact us page because there are not enough people working on it then two pages would not make it any faster. So yeah, no support.

*Cough* so the appeal page for banned users doesn't exist for you?

To see the page, log off from the banned account… Then you can access it.

This is nice, yeah feature should be 100% added, or the ST will lose its love, users and popularity.

And when would the ST read these? They already have enough to do. It also seems to be a really good way to direct a lot of angry and hurtful comments to the ST about what they do, and reading those on a regular basis can't be good for everyone- the moderators are people, too. Contact Us prevents a lot of that, I think, because not everyone receiving messages from the ST necessarily knows about it, or is willing to use it. Using Contact Us also forces them to stop and think about what they're doing (and gives them a little time to do so), and cool down a little.

Wow, this suggestion gained a load of controversial claims. Besides the point, this idea could be good and bad telling from previous statements. So far, imo, I find replying to a scratch team member very useful if you're in a rush, for example, but I can understand why this suggestion is getting loads of negative replies.

hey guys,

I got this message today saying
“5/2/2025
For project ‘Sprunki but I messed EVERYTHING up.’:

”Help keep the site friendly“ - The Scratch Team has removed this project because it is inappropriate fro the Scratch website.
References to SPRUNKI are too intense for a service used by young children. Continuing to share references to SPRUNKI or
other disallowed content will result in being permanently blocked from Scratch. Scratch is for kids ages 8 and up, so it's important
to keep your content friendly and appropriate for all ages. Please follow the Community Guidelines when using Scratch.”

1. take Sprunki MSI. THAT's WAAAAY more gory than my mod here!
2.my mod was supposed to be FUNNY, not INAPPROPRIATE!
3.I really like Sprunki, and I want to keep making mods about it.

I do not like this.

(PS: if anyone replies and says anything related to “crashing out”,I will just keep getting angrier.)

You did not read the alert ST sent to you clearly. Sprunki is too violent and gory for this website, if you haven’t noticed already. That’s why they’ve removed your project. If a project is shared with too much inappropriate content or blood, Scratch Team will check to see if anything in the project is following or is within the Community Guidelines.

It’s very frustrating and I can understand why you are mad about this, but they’re doing the best they possible can do to ensure safety and security for those using the website, even kids. Please keep things appropriate and make projects that follow the guidelines. Otherwise, they will take action regardless if you refuse to.

And next time, for future reference, take this to Contact Us. The Suggestion forums isn’t a place for this, unless a moderator is around or online and it clutters up the forum pages and is detected as spam.

It’s okay, and no problem. I think it was just that it had things in there that weren’t age appropriate for the website.

They also disallow certain references to Sprunki in general, so as a workaround for this, if you plan on making another Sprunki based project, just be aware that it’s original content is not meant for young kids, and also make sure that it follows the Community Guidelines and follows the “Keep the Site Friendly” rule. If you do just that, then you’ll be given the green light to share the project, as long as you made changes or made a new project that follows the guidelines.
