Why would we have to wait? This actually looks like this could be implemented extremely quickly.

Support, I hate the blurry image. However, I think that people with the current default pfp should still keep the old version; only new accounts would have it.

Not to be rude, but that's not really something in your control when you look at how many people support this and how many sites simplify stuff regardless of community feedback.

I extremely support it but the accent color has changed to purple so I think, why would we change the color to purple?

I think Scratch 2.0 default profile pictures would be great for Scratch 3.0 and 4.0
