Save Data in Scratch
Support because encoding and decoding is difficult.

Save Data in Scratch
Support. In Scratch 3.0 we could use java-script cookies (perhaps a little notice “this project uses cookies” sort-of like most websites).

Save Data in Scratch
You see, the reason why this is useful is so you can save clicker game progress. Lists do this already, but stored variables (like regular variables, but save their values when you leave instead of resetting to zero) could also work.

Save Data in Scratch
very nice idea, i would be very happy if the added it. however, i do not support because it would be too much work for st, and we can just make save codes for the games (which i have done before and it does the job)

Save Data in Scratch
No support. This would be difficult to implement, expensive, and strain the servers HARD. Plus, cloud variables work just fine, and you can always borrow from someones projects.

Save Data in Scratch
I HAVE SOLUTION AMIGOS. (ish)
Save. Codes.
Codes with your entire save file encoded in them that you could ask the player to save.
The problem:
Yeah, this means they could share an end-game save file, or decrypt it and mess with the file, but if your game is offline, then it's really the player's own loss. (they don't get to experience it in full)
Take it like Minecraft with cheats on. Less fun, less sense of accomplishment, but freedom.
