Epileptic warnings
This explains more and is more unique. Also, it would be there when making an account. How would anyone who's eliptic or non-eliptic know that there is an option? I never go on account settings to check out for updates, neither will they. The truth hurts, but this is still a duplicate.TrueThis looks like a decent suggestion that would be useful in many circumstances. However, this is a duplicate.I think the following quote from the original post is unique enough from the other topic to not be a duplicate:There should also be a tickbox that says “I'm epileptic” when creating an account, if you tick it, you are banned from using projects with flashing light, this option can be toggled after the creation of the account

-snip snip snip-I just thought of someone (although I think the OP already says this):How would anyone who's eliptic or non-eliptic know that there is an option? I never go on account settings to check out for updates, neither will they. The truth hurts, but this is still a duplicate.
I think when you first join Scratch, it should have a checkbox that says “I'm epileptic” and/or has an icon of a crossed eye, so selecting that would let the epileptic user see those warnings.

It's disappointing that this suggestion has been abandoned for a month.
This is a really good suggestion, and this is not quite a duplicate!
That is why I'm going to bump this topic, so others can see this and support this (or they can support without using the support convention.)
This is still a very good idea, and I think this should be considered, because this could save peoples' lives.

This would be so easy and implement, with so much benefit, I don't see a reason why this hasn't been added already. It is a possibility that this could save lives.

I think it's a good idea if we add a epileptic warning to projects with flashing lights, as something like this might end up saving livesliterally just do it yourself
There should be a box that you can tick that says “this project contains flashing images”, and a question mark that explains about epilepsy once clicked on, it should be something like this: “Flashing lights can cause injuries or deaths to epileptic people, please tick this box if your project contains flashing light”
There should also be a tickbox that says “I'm epileptic” when creating an account, if you tick it, you are banned from using projects with flashing light, this option can be toggled after the creation of the account
If you did not tick the box, you will receive a warning screen when opening a project that contains flashing lights, the warning screen should be similar to the loading screen except it is red and says “Warning, this project contains flashing lights, do not play this project if you are epileptic” in large font
I know you can add the warnings in the description, but not everyone is aware of the issue and not everyone read the description before playing a game
It is mandatory to add a epileptic warning if your project contains flashing light, and there will be a report option for projects without one, epileptic warning will be automatically added if enough people reported a project (similar to auto censoring) and the creator will receive an alert

There was changes to not make it a dupe. You know how a minor change in a remix is not warranted for a report? Well, that is the same here. I say, if a dupe has at-least one change, it is no longer considered a dupe. How would anyone who's eliptic or non-eliptic know that there is an option? I never go on account settings to check out for updates, neither will they. A second or third warning would be nice tho, and some ppl do ignore the warnings in the title, notes and credits, and instructions.I think it's a good idea if we add a epileptic warning to projects with flashing lights, as something like this might end up saving livesliterally just do it yourself
