I don't i like to remind people that its not another political emoji because blm aren't political

edit: king of the page/300th post on this topic
BLM is political, why did they protest by the government buildings? It was because they thought that the government ordered the police to kill black lives, though that wasn't the case. (One person got suffocated, by the police) BLM is a single movement, meaning you should indicate it as “isn't,” not “aren't.” The government has an awful lot of power, which is why the protests are likely aiming for the governmental buildings: to change the politicians' views, after all, it is what controls the police. (mostly)

Also, that was the 301st post, not 300th.

To be completely, blatantly honest, I am tired of all the Russo-Ukraine conflict suggestions that have been cropping up recently. We all are aware that it's a hot issue, but those comparing it to BLM and the LGBTQ+ movements are wrong.

Both are issues in society that need to be addressed, yes. I believe we can all mutually agree to that. However, the BLM and LGBTQ+ movements are long term issues, focused primarily on the issue of discrimination, and they concern a considerable portion of Scratch's userbase. Those movements are clear in their purpose of contesting the discrimination of their respective marginalized groups in society.

The Russo-Ukraine conflict, on the other hand, is not a movement, but rather a conflict that has turned violent in the past few days. The motives behind Russia's invasion on Ukraine are more vague, and require a deeper analysis to make sense of. I feel that many Scratchers here do not understand the motives of either side well enough to see reason in both sides. Plus, while the Russo-Ukraine conflict technically started in 2014 with the annexation of Crimea, it is a more temporary issue, especially with the current state of the war.

Such topics should not be announced to a bunch of children on Scratch. BLM and LGBTQ+ go against hate, and aren't necessarily violent in their purpose. The Russo-Ukraine conflict is a different story on the other hand, being a conflict with invasive intentions at its very core.
Mostly a response to bobcat0701, who keeps comparing the two.
THANK YOU. I've had a lot of trouble trying to explain that to people on this discussion.

What does the BLM emoji have to do with the Stand With Ukraine movement? This makes absolutely no sense. Please think before posting.

The blm and the Ukrainian situation were compared in the post above it. I presented it as a reference because this topic is a discussion of pictograms on the situation in Ukraine. I have thought it over before posting. (Translated by deepl translations.)

And by the way, I am sakai12.

Ohh, sorry. I assumed that you misread the topic post instead of replying to someone else's post.

The comment Emojis are meant with this Topic. I don't think that we'll be getting new Forum Emojis.

It's not the “Don't Say Gay” bill, it's a bill created so that kids under the third grade don't hear about sensitive topics without their parents' permission, the only reason why people are complaining about it is that pride is one of those topics.

It's showing what the emoji would be like, so it's on topic.

Not me. If you want a “Stand With Taiwan” or another emoji like that, UA stands out. The russians are deliberately targeting Ukrainian civilians, and you should know about the Bucha Massacre.

There's a difference between Russian troops, and Russian people, millions of Russian people have gotten their lives ruined from all the big companies leaving them and causing their economy to go down, and most of them don't even support the war, I think Ukrainians and Russians are suffering and it's their governments' fault.

It's StandWithUkraine, not GoAgainstRussia, thank you very much.
