I got Sonic 2 (the one with the peel out), Tails and Knuckles.
They're pretty basic, it's just a pullback toy but it's still pretty cool.

I feel like he attacked both, but the animals were in charge of the resistance because they are usually the ones with powers, and I assume wisps would have much of a liking toward the animals after Colours. The humans in the Sonic Universe aren't usually strong or have abilities to use so they were probably staying at home hiding or something.
Plus, Eggman only really worries about Sonic and the resistance because he knows how often he fails because of them.
