Is the word "Hell" allowed on Scratch

I had a thought to make all the levels in Super Meat Boy as a project because I really love that game, but one of the chapters is literally named “Hell” and I have no idea if we are even allowed to say that so can a moderator tell me if it is allowed or not? Even if it's allowed I most likely won't use the word or like any of the names for the other chapters as I'm just making the levels but I'm still curious.

Yes, it is allowed. Just don't use it in a way that might hurt someone's feelings or might offend someone. That is not allowed.
Although, I would recommend replacing it with “Underworld” just to be safe. You don't have to, but if you want to take extra precautions, you can.

Hope this helps!

Examples that are not allowed (ST these are examples):
“Go to hell”
“Go rot in hell”
“I hope you die in hell”

Or something about someone going to hell
And don't swear with the word hell as well!

Thanks for your feedback. I did say I was most likely not gonna use the names of each Chapter for my project but I was still curious as I know some people can be offended by this word.

Yes. For some reason, even though it's a bad word, it is allowed. I should also point out that you can't even say “grind” without being muted, and that doesn't even have a negative connotation.

“Hell” as in the place is allowed, eg in religious context (such as “According to the Bible, those who constantly do bad things will go to Hell when they die”) but I think Underworld is better just to be safe, or maybe something like “Lava World” since Hell is commonly depicted as being a place filled with lava, like the Nether in Minecraft. (I remember the Bible saying Hell was more like a desert though? Could be wrong. Since the only people who would have gone there are dead there’s no way for us to know for sure what it’s like unless we’re able to communicate with the dead or something, we can only guess)

Uhhhhhhhhh

The word “Grind” is part of the title of a dating app, and I’m pretty sure it’s also a slang term for doing something not appropriate for Scratch, as well as selling drugs.

But I do agree that “grind” itself isn’t bad, eg “I’m grinding some vegetables for dinner tonight”.

Yeah you don't need to be that careful, saying “hell” as a place or even saying something like “what the hell” should be fine, but don't say things like “you will go to hell”.
