virus scanner (to the st please add it)
I previously is talking about malware, I accidentally clicked on a malware link. Luckily, my antivirus says it is not secure. Can you make a virus-scanner for a post and to prevent it from sending malware links? At least a scanner would be great.

I'm sorry if this isn't support or not supporting a suggestion, but I have to state something out
If the person had a malware link, then that is against 3.5 of the Scratch ToS which says
This is indicating that the person who sent that link is eligible for a suspension and/or deletion of their account. If you still have the link, please report it and/or use Contact Us, located in the footer
But I support it if this was possible. This will totally keep Scratch safe and make sure that kids don't destroy their's or their parent's computers. But you are responsible for anything you do on your account. But people can get fooled easily. So this will be good.
Although, do you think they have the funds to create an anti-virus system for this website?
But this suggestion sounds so simple, so I believe this may be a duplicate. Although, I cannot find it at the moment.

3.5 You agree not to use Scratch in any way intended to disrupt the service, gain unauthorized access to the service, or interfere with any other user's ability to use the service. Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to:.
- 1. Posting content deliberately designed to crash the Scratch website or editor;
2. Linking to pages containing viruses or malware;
3. Using administrator passwords or pretending to be an administrator;
4. Repeatedly posting the same material, or “spamming”;
5. Using alternate accounts or organizing voting groups to manipulate site statistics, such as purposely trying to get on the “What the Community is Loving/Remixing” rows of the front page

Though it could be easier to see that it is a malicious website..

This is why I support this. People don't know the contents of inside the website which is the worst part.
I'm just saying that if you see suspicious links, you report them to the ST and let them handle it. It's the best thing as of right now.

It's already a rule you shouldn't do, and this might be hard to implement. Also, what virus scanner would Scratch use? Or would they make one from scratch?

Been hearing this “virus Link” For a long time…You might not know who I am but I put a lot of scratches into banned ones and taking down a lot of these virus links since 2018. I work together with about seven scratch police and created my own“SWI”(Scratch Watch Investigators" we try our best to find this link to take it down but we cant find it anywhere.

I don’t think it’s the ST’s responsibility to monitor external links. It would use a LOT of processing power and we already have too many link restrictions. Perhaps it just warns you if a link leads to an untrusted site?

How would Scratch determine if a website is a virus? It's not like there's a database of every malware site.

Virustotal isn’t fully accurate. Scratch doesn’t need something like this, because of the filter and moderators.

Scratch had an window to say that you are going off the Scratch website, it had two buttons (i guess?) to go to the site and a button to be still in Scratch it's removed and it was on the Scratch Wiki!
