Scratch doesn't use flash anymore and i'm pretty sure the issue is because of compression on the scratch canvas.Oh it’s maybe your using html5? It wont work on flash but try legacy flashIt’s because the creator of this topic has flashNo, I have this issue even without flash.

Vector circles have cut-off edges
My browser / operating system: MacOS Macintosh X 10.11.6, Safari 11.1.2, Flash 32.0 (release 0)
When I make a circle or ellipse in the costume editor in vector mode, it has clipped edges, by which I mean, the sides are partially straight in places, like so:

I was trying to use a direct image link, but it said I have to use imageshack for that, and you have to pay for an account on that.

(#66)No. It's a valid Scratch bug that has been around for years (literally since the launch of 3.0 and before). My browser / operating system: MacOS Macintosh X 10.11.6, Safari 11.1.2, Flash 32.0 (release 0)

You can increase the costume size and do set size to (size). It works for me.

The best workaround for this is to put an invisible rectangle around everything in the costume

Bump. My workaround is to put an invisible box around my shape, but that is annoying, and I hope this is fixed soon.

I experienced this issue, to fix it, just create a shape from the circle/square tool then set it to no fill and no outline, this should fix it.

Vector circles have cut-off edges
This is because of the way scratch crops images before displaying them. A fix is to add a blank(no color) square covering anything bigger than your sprite.thank you!
