Support! It’s so annoying when I have to use something else to crop my image. I think it might also be beneficial to have a resize option, so when you have a square image that is too big, you can resize it to be within the size range for profile pictures.

Although I can already do this on my computer's photo editor, cropping the image directly into Scratch would be much faster to do. I would like for this to be added.

I'd prefer compressing them, trying to follow the original image.

But you would still have a distorted profile picture if it’s a rectangle.

Support! Really we do need this. I uploaded an img and and it uploaded the whole. Then I had to crop the pic on my system
