APNG support
apng files are not supported, they are imported as standard png files
and if you mess around with the zip file (sb3 files are zip files) generated by clicking “Save to your computer” and try to overwrite the png file with your apng file, this happens
here is the file (from scratch cdn): https://assets.scratch.mit.edu/internalapi/asset/ce02a645e11d21b7511d26171bbf526a.png/get/
you'll notice that if you open it with the windows photo app (or most other image viewing/editing apps), it only shows the first frame, but if you open it with a chromium-based browser (e.g. chrome/edge), it shows the apng file correctly

Support, but isn't the same as animated SVGs? I'm not talking about SVGs here, however. Support, if it imports it like a regular ol' GIF.

APNG files are better than GIFs in almost every way. The only problem is that Edge 15-18 don't support, but we could probably drop support for those versions.

(#8)It's more used than Firefox on desktop and slightly less used than Firefox when including mobile.APNG files are better than GIFs in almost every way. Plus, Edge is based off of Chromium, which is what Chrome is also based off of. It's no additional effort to support Edge Chromium than it is to support Chrome (especially since most ST members use macOS and Chrome)
