Scratch Guidelines on Youtube Channels

I have plans to start uploading videos to my Youtube channel and advertising it on my profile, but I think I heard from somewhere that there were guidelines Youtube channels needed to follow in order to be allowed on Scratch. Is there a topic that has those guidelines anywhere?

Youtube channels are allowed if they follow the community guidelines and other invisible rules. For example, you are not allowed to advertise your server because it has Direct Messages. You are not allowed to livestream and you are not allowed to swear. This post from Za-Chary explains it very nicely.

You can't stream or say anything obscene- that's about it.

I think you also need to refrain from linking to other media websites on your channel (such as dizzycords and tweeetir), I think some people have gotten banned for that before.

Basically, YouTube channels must not:
  • Create content that doesn't follow the Scratch Community Guidelines (as well as other rules like the browser extension/userscript policy)
  • Share social links
  • Live stream
  • Set up premiers that are not “made for kids”
  • Turn on comments (I wouldn't even choose to moderate the comments - this might lead to private messaging)
  • Feature other channels that do not follow these guidelines
If your YouTube channel doesn't follow these guidelines, you must not link it on Scratch. However, you are welcome to continue your YouTube channel completely separately from Scratch.

Do you have a source for this? I think links to YouTube videos with comments enabled and channels with such videos are allowed, even though comments can be inappropriate, because YouTube's primary purpose is sharing content.

I have my server linked on my YouTube channel, so I can't link my channel?
