How To Get Your Projects Noticed | Some Helpful Tips
i um, i'm new here, so.. i don't know how to make forums and stuff…
but ways to get your projects noticed include catchy thumbnails (simple, not too much details), adding projects to studios, and getting them curated.
it also depends on luck of course. getting projects featured, etc.
and um….yeah hi everyone. i hope you're all doing well right now.
and um….yeah.
nice to meet you all. keep scratching!

I don't think F4F is a good way to get more followers, because those followers aren't earned, asking for F4F might seem like you're just a wannabe and envious and lots of Scratchers don't like it, so they decline any of those offers.
F4F makes no sense, you'd just have “dead Followers”, aka Followers that don't do anything. Basically the same with Youtube's Sub4Sub where you'd get a Subscriber that doesn't watch your videos

- Many Followers doesn't mean you're a good Scratcher -
I agree f4f is not really the best way to get followers!

How to make you project good:
MAKE AN INTRO
Intros can make your project appealing. Make your intro frames. You might want to include your logo, pfp or username in this. Here is how to code:
When green flag clicked: show (effect if you want) When green flag clicked: Play sound the hide.
Give clear instructions
If you do not tell people exactly what to do, they may get confused and avoid your projects.
Uhm, i cant think of anything else.

I've followed this guide and my project got around 80 views. but no ones hearting it, starring it, remixing it or commenting on it. It's a really good platformer so idk why this happened

How To Get Your Projects Noticed | Some Helpful Tips
I do work really hard on projects. I make good artwork. I don't spam unnecessary tags. I make original titles and content. But, nobody sees my work. No one sees what I am doing. I am not a bad person, am I? I was inactive for a few months. That just dropped my popularity and I am unable to restore my pace. I get 0 views for a project that I worked 15 hours on! I don't advertise much and I earned at least 90% of my followers genuinely! I want viewers! Not followers who don't care to take a look at my hard work. I've got 139 followers, I was really happy the day I hit 100 followers last year but later did I realise that none of those 100 people cared to look at my new projects. Scratch is not about followers. It's all about creativity. But nowadays everyone is competing for followers. While nobody cares about others. If you are seeing this story and is not visiting my profile or any others' that would mean that you are among one of those people who are greedy for followers. Scratch was not like this. Everyone is getting more and more selfish. I expect some generosity from you. This is not an advertisement and as I said, I don't like advertising myself.

I guess quote means reply so anyways. I was going to say the same thing. Some people just do not get noticed after long hours of work. This is making non famous scratchers quit. Scratch team should do something about this to motivate these scratchers (including me) by maybe making a new section just like FPC but this time, only for under rated projects that scratch team themselves will choose. They can have less than 200 views, less than 50 loves/favs etc. If they do this, scratch will be a way better place and it will motivate new scratchers to keep on coding, not giving up and continuing their hard work.![]()
