Fifteen days of the French language and of the francophonie

The event named, the Fifteen days of the French language and of the francophonie, will take place during the month of March, officially the month of the francophonie and of the French language. It is an opportunity to highlight another language and other cultures, in this case, the event allows to highlight the French speakers and the language they speak. The event will take place from March 10 to 25 and each activity will last 5 days to give everyone time to participate by creating a project.
The event will take place in different studios and apart from the three main activities, there will be others that are less important and will last less time.

Discover the francophonie

From March 10 to 15
The francophonie (French-speaking world), it's France… But not only! The francophonie, it's a lot of countries on different continents, in America, Africa, Europe, Oceania and even in Asia. The French-speaking people have today a history, a culture, a place to live and traditions, you can present us, the French-speaking people even if there is no longer a direct link with the French language.

Learn French

From March 15 to 20
Always dreamed to learn a new language but never had the courage to take lessons? It's the ideal place for you! Learn projects through projects created by other scratchers… You know how to speak French, you know some expressions that you would like to make us discover? We invite you to share your knowledge and everything you know, a lot or a little, in a project.

Tell a story

From March 20 to 25
Invent a story, imagine a story, tell a story, short or long in French! There are so many stories that we live every day or others that we live more occasionally and so many ways to tell them. You can simply write the text of your story in a draft, draw pictures and add bubbles like in comics, add your voice and make sound effects with it or illustrate the story with pictures…

Want to help ? There are so many ways to help.

To translate the activity descriptions, there are or will be studios. For the first activity, we are looking for translators here: https://scratch.mit.edu/studios/31104609/. Please read the descriptions of the studios whose links have been given to translate. We do not accept the use of automatic translators.

You can also help by adding projects to the activity studios and responding to comments when the event will start. We ask you to ask to help now, although it will of course be possible when the event will start. You must be nice and constructive… Ask in this topic why you should curate the studios.
