I think it would be nice to have an explore section where one could filter through all the game jams by certain criteria, and only featured jams could be shown on the front page to avoid clutter. What do you think? Should I implement this?

What do you mean by destroyed? You mean buried under other game jams in a potential explore section?

Yes! Maybe people could follow a contest and receive a notification at important moments.

I'm not sure I understand; I wrote the code for the whole website. If you are talking about the images and the cat puns, I've got them from the internet (psst… I also sneaked in a picture of my cat as well among the others).
