Is the latest Scratch version 2.0 a beta one? If so, when is the final version likely to be released?

The online version of Scratch 2.0 is not in Beta, but they are releasing updates every now and then as tweaks. The offline version of Scratch 2.0 is in beta though. It's hard to say when it will exit beta.

Nope, Scratch 2.0 was in beta but is not any more. It's final (they're still updating though).

Yeah, I remember it used to be called “Scratch 2.0 Offline Editor Beta” and now they removed the beta.
