1) Make a contest in which all people or specific people can participate in. Give them an easy theme. Eg: ‘My favorite flower’.

6)Mention if you want the participants to remix your contest or make a new project. It's best if you tell people to remix your contest because there won't be so much hassle.

7)Tell people about your contest. There are many ways to let Scratchers know about your contest! Some ways are:

• Paste the link in your Scratch profile and/or make the contest your featured project! When people check out your profile, they get to know about it and even might wanna participate in it!
  

• Ask your followers/whoever you are following to let their followers/whoever they are following know about your contest. You could ask them like this:
  “Hi. If it's okay with you, can you please advertise this contest? Thanks!”
  But if they have a strict no-advertising policy, then don't ask them to.
  

• Ask for your contest to be added in a studio specially made for advertising or a studio specifically made for contests to be advertised.
  

• Advertise your contest in the ‘Show and Tell’ section of the discussion forums. It is specifically made for advertising.
