I have had that problem happen to one of my older games. I fixed it by deleting the ? then redoing the costume.

I spent over a week working on my scratch project. The day before today I saved and closed the scratch project as usual but when I opened it laer half of my costumes are replaced with a gray question mark

PLS Help if anyone knows how to fix this.

Use the Contact Us at the bottom of the page and ask ST to load an older vesion of your project. Hope this helps!
