I want to make imageupload.gwiddle.org and ask the ST to whitelist it. It would be simple, require no registration, and have no ads (of course I would add basic spam protection such as a timeout between picture uploads). Sometimes the best tools are the ones you code yourself (I've experienced this a lot).

I would make it a .gwiddle.org domain because I don't want to have to deal with all my images going offline because I forget to renew a freenom domain

I'm not sure if Gwiddle has quite the speeds to handle really large images. But then again forum signatures are quite small. Hey that could work actually! There could be a Mb size limitation perhaps. Not a bad idea. I would not be surprised if that site ends up using a lot of bandwidth, with every Scratch page loaded and all. The bandwidth for the site would probably reach the bronze package limit.

MegaApuTurkUltra, I pay for silver because my version archive used up a ton of bandwidth. I've switched to using CDNs for javascript (there's a LOT of javascript for SqueakJS) and use of the archive has slowed down a bit, so I could create the website and give you FTP access. I've sort of been wanting to create a image hosting website myself.

Funnt how secretly all of us in our minds kind of dreampt of creating an image hosting site, while none of us spoke up till now. I'd be glad to see that done! Plus I'll probably be getting a 1TB hard drive which I maybe now found usage for - image storage.

Up with tinypic.
I downloaded a plugin that protects you from malware

Plus, Tinypic is powered by Photobucket, and is the non-paid version, causing ads to appear.
Photobucket is whitelisted too. Simply sign up for photobucket and safely upload pictures

This site has become a disgrace! The ads are horrible, and new suspicious sites open in new tabs all the time. This site needs taken off Scratch's allowed list.
1. Ads are ads. I don't even get ads, just a little picture of a car where I need to enter “this car is great” or whatever. Doesn't bother me.
2. Um, I've never had a new tab open when using tinypic ever. Ever. Ever.
No support.

If you don't like it, use another whitelisted site -.-

Signing up is also something we don't want to force people to do. So it's essentially a choice between signing up or ads. That's why we need a new option. And there are people unable to obtain plugins or malware protection, do you want to exclude them?

No. I can see instantly that the site can and will host adult content.

Great! Perhaps you could make a petition to get it white listed? How about scratchimg.gwiddle.org?

I've always had a secret desire to make a photo upload site too. :p

Ugg, why can't we be in the 90's, when we didn't have people capitalizing off of the internet…

Guys, just get Adblock and Adblock Plus. If you have both of them, you should be good. But, if you are still getting ads, just click on the ABP tool in the right corner (on Chrome at least), click block-element, and then click on the ads and you will never see them again.

I do support though IF they replace it with an alternative with no registration.

This is probably the moderate statement that we can ALL agree with.

I uploaded some smaller images and I have no problems - it acts like a regular professional server. I'm sure Gwiddle can handle very large images.

Gwiddle could help with hardware wize, you could pay for more hard disk space for the service.
