Github wed publishing

Could someone pls explain how to publish a website on github? There are so many sites, I don't know which ones to follow! Please answer if you've done this kind of stuff yet. (I'm a newbie)

Go to settings
Click “pages”
Enable pages, select the root folder, and pick a random theme

Your static website will then be up in a few minutes.

if you are using a private repository, then yes. Otherwise, no.
Why wouldn't it be public?

Test how good your computer is at doing math. 3DS and Wii U online after shutdown.

if you are using a private repository, then yes. Otherwise, no.
