Horizontal Blocks!
This is different from my Only Icons Blocks Suggestion!
Hi!
This is the suggestion for Horizontal Blocks!
They can also be found on the Scratch Wiki.

It will be optional and the vertical blocks will be the default ones.

#305This could be possible too.
These blocks should have a hover note over them saying the block name too

Good Idea this can look nice but if you want to use horizontal blocks you can try ScratchJr.

Support! I would use this and horizontal blocks do seem more efficient and simple.

No support. Vertical blocks work just fine, and horizontal ones wouldn't have that big of an audience. the text on blocks is often long, and flipping it over would be awkward to read. It works fine for ScratchJr because it's simple with only numbers and images.

Might be good for people who know all the blocks and are looking to make their code less big. Other than that, I see no other use for this, but I like this suggestion and I would probably use it often.

I would love this, but It is easier to visualize and basically read the script instead of reading symbols

Support. While I wouldn't use it myself, I could see some others using it a lot.

No support, for 3 reasons.
1. Although it may be nice (not auctually, see #2 and #3) for very small (figuratively, as in non-complex) projects, it just becomes choas for normal sized to large projects.
2. Scratch teaches coding, and modern coding languages are formatted vertically. The goal of Scratch was to be an introduction to coding, so you can move on to auctually programming launguages.
3. Horizontal blocks would confuse Scratchers. Projects would be hard to navigate.

There can be button which will switch between them (In my other suggestion) It can be vertical by default and we can switch to Horizontal.

I would say no support, but:
There can be button to switch to them and we can use them. I know all the blocks since I became a Scratcher and I know it will be difficult for New Scratchers. So we can have the Vertical as default and we can switch to horizontal blocks.I support, because there would still be a default vertical.

No support, i don't like horizontal blocks because it seems more right vertical blocks, also they're too simple, i never liked scratch Jr blocks, they was too simple.

Horizontal Blocks look better in my opinion bit there are none of them. So how is this on the Scratch Wiki?![]()

Pls Don't Mention ScratchJr as you have told me about it. ScratchJr is different and Scratch is different. ScratchJr is a app and they some people not want to download it (like me). So pls don't mention ScratchJr, mention something different which is not in the Scratch Family.
nice

no support. they're too fat for a PC (mobile devices dosent counts as scratch performance in mobile devices is terrible). plus, some scratcher may have problems with knowing what thing does each block (with the lack of text). and as a final strike, that would cause problems with educational sutff and all those things (it may sound strange, but that why the ST has rejected things like allowing the user to change the color of the blocks or bringing back the 2.0 layout)
